Weekend Dispatcher-Lawrence Companies Freight Dept-Roanoke, VA

This is a part-time position and reports directly to the Freight Operations Manager.

The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 6am-6pm.

Job Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to);

Monitor security cameras of all Lawrence locations
Monitor traffic in and out of the yard
Check to make sure all doors are secure in the warehouse
Communicate with drivers in person and on the phone
Use TMW Suite to assign drivers to loads and update loads
Must be able to communicate via email in a professional manner
Communicate with the on-duty dispatch about driver and customer issues
Update customers and brokers on load status
Requirements;

Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Proficiency in TMW Suite, preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must possess assertive attitude and being a good team member
Excellent customer service
