- A Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
- Hiring level will be determined based on the best fit candidate, but some experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- The ability to take high-level data and processes and effectively communicate them both verbally and written to a variety of end-users
- Experience developing professional-level presentations via Microsoft applications and delivering them confidently
- A desire to learn all aspects of the tire manufacturing process including equipment requirements, incentive standards, formal work procedures, and more
- It’s a plus if you have working knowledge of AutoCAD, TPS programs, 5S, Process Flow, Kanban Systems, and other Lean manufacturing principals
- A willingness to work in a collaborative atmosphere with teammates, as well as team members from other departments

Job Responsibilities
As an Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for improvement initiatives and production support in all areas of plant operations. In doing so, you will be responsible for:
- Determining and monitoring capacity analysis for all plant equipment and assisting with installation schedules, expansion analysis, and planning when needed
- Writing clear, concise standard operating procedures (SOPs) for manual operations
- Investigating and evaluating cost-reduction action items and providing financial analysis of equipment and materials
- Drafting the design of a workspace, assuring optimum material/product flow and proper storage is achieved
- Developing and maintaining incentive standards and productivity guidelines, plus providing performance tracking systems and reports
- Determining production requirements based on product mix and quantity, as well as determining labor requirements, planned hours, and material handling procedures
- Helping develop the plant operating budget and direct labor costs/standards
- Conducting machine cycle audits/line speed audits
- Assisting in implementation of automated storage control systems
- Ensuring operations are smooth through continuous support and special projects
