Electronics Technician

• Maintain safety, quality and productivity of industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment using electrical drawings, test equipment and PLC software.
• Work closely with Maintenance and Production to restore equipment operation safely and efficiently using LOTO and required PPE.
• Communicate to involved departments equipment status by shift reports and other documentation.
• Support the Engineering Department by involvement in various phases of electrical control projects such as: design, estimation, quotation, budgeting, contracting, scheduling, installation and start-up.
• Investigate machinery wiring, components, and drawings.
• Perform thermographic surveys of equipment and prepare summary report.
• Schedule project work and electrical PM with Production and Maintenance.
• Work with contractors, vendors and purchase parts.
• Analyze data, develop design and operational changes and perform root cause analysis.
• Support the Engineering Department to supply complete documentation including project files, as-built drawings, and PM.
