COBI: WHERE INDIVIDUALS ASSIST EACH OTHER TO BUILD BUSINESS THROUGH RELATIONSHIPS AND EDUCATION.
COBI “circles” are like-minded members of the greater Botetourt Chamber of Commerce that meet on a regular basis for purpose of supporting the growth of each other’s businesses. Relationships are built. You become educated through learning about business through various chamber programs. It’s sort of a mini Chamber of Commerce. Get involved! Grow your business-together! Click here for current schedule.
What COBI Circles are:
- A great way to meet like-minded business contacts and build friendships
- A positive, safe place to float business ideas and concepts
- Where you can bring business challenges to others for assistance
- An easy way to introduce others to the chamber and what we do
- Where you try out new marketing ideas
- Another way to build your business “book”
- No additional cost to you– its included with your paid Chamber membership
- Where referrals have already been vetted (they’re not just “leads”)
- A great investment of time and resources
- Where you get plugged in
What COBI Circles are not:
- Critical, mean, or demeaning
- A party-time waste of your limited resources
- Competitive; only one business per industry may join a circle
